The
interactive documentary raccontidalparcogrigna.it guides along the naturalistic
itinerary of the ancient road connecting Esino Superiore to Perledo, with
particular attention to the anthropological and historical dimension of these
places.
The road
was rediscovered thanks to a spontaneous and voluntary grass-roots movement. A group
of citizens from the communities of Esino Superiore and Perledo from 2005 to
2009 carried out the restoration work, giving back to the community an important
piece of their own history.
Raccontidalparcogrigna.it is, after ten years, a return
journey which aims to tell this story through the voices and the faces of those
who experienced it.
Raccontidalparcogrigna.it is a project for the enhancement
and dissemination of the Northern Grigna Regional Park that falls within the
call for proposals Strumenti di
promozione della comunità montana Valsassina, Valvarrone, Val d’Esino e Riviera.
It is an
initiative realized with the collaboration of Quaderni di Storia Esinese association which coordinated the
project of reactivating the ancient road in the period 2005-2010.
